A community-powered guide
Chaipa can pool electronic programme guide (EPG) data and channel logos across users, completely anonymously. When your provider's guide is missing or wrong for a channel, coverage contributed by the community fills it in — rounded out with standardised channel data and logos from the open iptv-org database.

Cinematic metadata
For movies and series, Chaipa enriches each title with high-quality posters, backdrops, cast & crew and synopses from TMDB, plus ratings drawn from IMDb via OMDb. When a provider's artwork is a dead link, Chaipa quietly swaps in the real poster.

What exactly is Chaipa?
Chaipa is a media player for Android TV. It plays IPTV playlists that you provide — in M3U Plus or Xtream Codes format — and presents them with a modern, streaming-style interface. It is software, not a content service.
Does Chaipa provide channels, movies or any content?
No. Chaipa does not supply, host, sell or resell any channels, streams or media of any kind. It contains no playlists. You bring your own legal playlist from a provider or source you already use, exactly like a web browser opens pages you point it to.
Is Chaipa legal? What about my sources?
The app is a media player, perfectly legal in itself — like a web browser. What matters is the legality of the playlist you connect to it: only use sources you have the right to access. We explain how to recognise a legal provider and where to find legitimate sources on our Legal IPTV page.
What formats and devices are supported?
Chaipa reads M3U Plus playlists and Xtream Codes accounts, and handles common streaming formats such as HLS and MPEG-TS. It runs on Android TV devices on Android 7.0 (API 24) and newer.
Can I try it without a playlist?
Yes. We provide a free, legal demo playlist so you can explore Chaipa before connecting your own — free-to-air channels, Creative-Commons films and public-domain titles. See the Demo section.

The app is free: live TV, movies, series, search, favourites and the now/next guide. Optionally, Chaipa Premium ($0.99/month or $9.99/year, with a 30-day free trial, cancel anytime) unlocks the full 7-day TV guide, multi-day catch-up/replay and replay search. Is there a free trial?
Yes: 30 days of Premium free, no card required. When the trial ends you automatically return to the free version if you don't subscribe — no surprise charges.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Anytime, from your Google Play account → Subscriptions. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've already paid for, then simply return to the free version.
What about my privacy?
Chaipa has no user accounts and shows no ads. Your playlists stay on your device. An optional, anonymous community feature can share programme-guide data to improve coverage, and you can turn it off at any time. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
